    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song shorty after September 11, 2001 with a stack of articles I had printed up from the internet about the victims circumstances. Most of the victims in this song were people on the airplanes that crashed into the twin towers.
The line "America was a proud nation before, but now, as a loving nation, we're so much more" is not meant to imply that we are no longer proud to be Americans; just that the love that resulted from the tragedy, coupled with our pride, is a wonderful thing.
