	Story Behind the Song Vince had all the music together for this and came in one Sunday night (regular songwriting sessions) and said to Holly & others: "Listen to this...I've been playing with this chord progression...what do you think?" From the moment he started, Holly could see images of a daughter dancing with her father outside in the fields, then the feeling of running and laughing and playing together, perhaps with other children. She had the words of the chorus by the time he finished playing. The rest is history as the whole band pitched in to finish it together.
