"Darkness Overwhelming (early version)" | genre: Goth | |

Basically, this song is making fun of Tool. Tom wrote the guitar, and I (tim) wrote the dark lyrics. It is a mock of tool's ridiculous overintensity, dark lyrics, and attempt at being deep and dark. We recorded in tom's neighbors room. Their is no structure yet and only two parts. The rest will be coming soon though. Nothing is more fun than making fun of Goth music. |

Story Behind the Song
the song is about darkness overwhelming me and everything. Its a fun jab at bands like tool, nine inch nails, marylin manson, disturbed, (whichever "dark" band you dislike, and want made fun of). WE recorded in one take. The song is dark and mysterious.
Lyrics
Why do the voices haunt me so.
Why won't they leave me alone.
Sanity has lost its grip on me.
I've embraced the darkness that is alive
alive in me, alive in me, alive in me.
Darkness overwhelming hte very senses of my soul
Darkness overwhelming now its taking control
Darkness overwhelming my every move.
The pieces don't fit anymore (x4)
anymore
anymore
anymore
The undead
the undead
the undead
The undead, talk to me, welcoming my darkness into their lair.
The undead, eat me. I hear their desperate scream,
Numbing me.
