Lyrics
The return of Pastor Skull
A winter's night, a gentle breeze
A hazy moon outlines the trees.
A breathless silence fills the park
A cloud blows over, the night is dark.
A star peeps through, highlights a stack,
A monolith, so big, so black.
The arena sings with ancient pain
The clouds return. Darkness again.
The air is calm, the night is still
A blackened figure climbs the hill.
A shadow climbs, but is not seen,
The crowd all stand as if in a dream.
With a deafening crash that sears the night
The stage is bathed in orange light
The crystal sound cuts like a knife
As Satan's master bursts into life.
I'm Pastor Skull, come join our fight
Its good to see you here tonight
Though you may jump, and you may jive
No one gets out of here alive.
As you cringe beneath my foetid breath
My dogs will scare you half to death
You'll soon be captured by my spell
And sent to an eternal Hell.
Then over the crest come screaming dead
With a lust for blood that must be fed
Destroying life, instilling fear
In every mortal that they near.
The debris of the slaughter falls
Blindly in the Gods' dark halls
This Hell-spawns laughter fills the snow
And man must face his final foe.
The Lords of Chaos cheer aloud
As Skull destroys the thronging crowd.
The stench of violent carnage fills
The mist held vales and silent hills.
Men reduced to blackened coal
As Skull's guitar sucks out their soul
Cardinal sin in word and deed
As the corpses burn and the bodies bleed.
With the sorcery the Pastor wields
He scours the holy battlefields
Men and women fused as one
By the power of a hundred suns.
The sky is dark and overcast
As Man prepares to breath his last
And fall, and curse the twists of fate
That first unleashed the Lord of Hate.
The force of death now strides the world
Our evil banner flies unfurled
And in it's wake this day behold
Your once proud lands are dead and cold
Your houses burned, your children bled
Utopia is black and dead
Ten thousand graves you'll have to dig
You'll not forget my debut gig.
