	Story Behind the Song Some time ago, a friend of mine gave me a little book called "The Spiritual Seasons of Life" by Evelyn Hamon that explained about the spiritual seasons we go through. It is during autumn and winter that the root of who we are is strengthened and our character grows deeper in Him, producing greater fruit in seasons to come (Matthew 7:20). Inspiration for this song came during the pains of pruning. (Thanks Lisa!)
