Story Behind the Song
It's a personel story. Suffice it to say, the song's title came to me. This song has been in the making for months. Just because you come up with a catchy title doesn't mean the lyrics are going to write themselves. I had to do a lot of homework to get the lyrics for this one! This will be the last song that I do with only 8 tracks. I have upgraded my studio to 16 tracks. This is the second song that Kevin has helped me with. This time he not only helped with the mixdown, but also with the recording of the song. He also mastered the song.
Lyrics
Prophylactic Love
(Jones, Smith)
They have from sheik to sheen,
To metallic that gleems,
From Magnums to just too damn small.
They come in red white and blue,
A box of a dozen or two,
Little soilders awaiting your call.
Then when your choice is done,
It is time for some fun.
Prophylactic love,
No need for skin on skin.
Like a protective glove,
It keeps what's hers on her,
And his on him.
Then there's the diagphram,
What's with that oral dam,
Is someone expecting a flood?
They have flavors like Cherry,
Cool mint and Kiwi,
I'm sure they just taste like mud.
But it's still what you need,
When you're bumping uglies.
Prophylactic love,
No need for skin on skin.
Like a protective glove,
It keeps what's hers on her,
And his on him.
(break)
Prophylactic love,
No need for skin on skin.
Like a protective glove,
It keeps what's hers on her, and his on him.
Prophylactic love,
No need for skin on skin.
Like a protective glove,
It keeps what's hers on her,
And his on him.
