Story Behind the Song
The biggest problem with this one was how we were supposed to make the background melody in the chorus sound as good as it sounded in our minds. We tried singing it but it sounded really weak so we came upp with the idea of using a slide guitar. But since were not Cinderella in the 80's we don't have any slide equipment at home so we used a shot glass instead and after many takes I think we got away with it...
Lyrics
Oh no, the tide went on, inhale
Close down your mind or make it ready, for more
I’m still here, tried to let it go
There’s no fear, I’m coming home
Oh no, last goodbye already
Calm down and leave the world for space, let go
I’m still here, tried to let it go
I read the signs and closed the door
There’s no fear, I’m coming home
In the sound of pouring rain
I’m still here and you’re to blame
With or without you life’s unjust
With or without you I am lost
I’m still here, tried to let it go
I read the signs and closed the door
I joined the ride, it helped me grow
There’s no fear, I’m coming home
