	Story Behind the Song about eight years ago, i had this crush on a female vocalist i was working with and i wrote this song for her to sing. i had produced some music and it was decent at the time, but looking back, the quality was about the equivalent of a rough demo. but regardless, the project fell through for various reasons... i did a few versions with me singing it and chris vasquez on guitars... but nothing ever came of it. fast forward to 2001, i had tried to resurrect this track by creating loops from the original cassette tape versions that i had... but i was not satisfied with the outcome. in may of 2002, i met ana lovelis on a bulletin board. after listening to her music, i approached her about doing a collaboration. she agreed... and it was shortly after that i thought about brknsoul... and how perfect ana would be for this track. around this time, i had also met bill jehle and had approached him about doing a collaboration as well... and I have been collaborating with aaron of internal faith relation... so i threw everyone together to work on it. initially, things were a bit sluggish, but i had in my mind that i wanted it to be different from the original, i just wasn't sure how to approach it. the initial tracks were drums and those were scrapped after i laid down the first synth tracks. but soon after the first synth tracks were down, it went pretty quickly. it was a dream working with ana, bill, and aaron and i'm looking forward to doing more with them in the future.
