	Story Behind the Song "Psalm 49" really gets to the heart of the matter. Earthly wealth and power are not the strongholds some may perceive them to be. "I will turn my ear to a proverb, with the harp expound my riddle". Check out Psalm 49 it is just full of great language. The whole beginning of this tune reminds a lot of people of Rush. We take that as a compliment. Lyrics The Lyrics can be found in "Psalm 49"Read Romans chapter 9 & 10 and John 3:16. Our heavenly father didnt want the process of being made worthy of heaven such a confusing and complicated ordeal for his children. He just simply wants you to choose to believe in his son Jesus Christ and confess him as your Lord and savior. The simple heart felt belief that Christ died for you and all of your sin and to ask forgiveness of that sin and to ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior is the only way you will see an eternity in heaven. There is no other way to heaven. Do not listen to those that say it's all about good works and adding all those good works up on some spiritual scorecard. That is non-sense and biblically not true. Yes it is important as a Christian to live your life doing good works and promoting the gospel but it is in no way the substitute for a belief in Christ and confessing him as Lord. Do not listen to those that say that just believing that there is a God will get you to heaven. This is also non-sense, for the devil himself knows there is a God. Is he going to heaven....I dont think so.
