	Story Behind the Song This is the first song written for my daughter Jessica, though not neccessarily about her. It could be about many things: trust, faith, being a father...ect. The musical idea of this song came from an idea I've been considering for years now. The idea of acoustic-based music w/ a lot of atmosphere and background "stuff" hidden within the layers of music. The recording of this song was started in Aug. 2001 as three acoustic tracks, two w/ pretty heavy effects, adding alot of texture behind the acoustic strumming. The percussion wasn't added until around Jan 2002. Then came the wait for the lyrics (hey, I had a very busy and hectic year, being a new dad, then moving, ect). Finally in late June the words literally came to me one night, they were recorded within days of being written and sung in one shot. Then the synth parts and acoustic E-Bow solo and it was done. The strange into sound is actually an acoustic guitar w/ tons of backward delay. This is definately one of my best....
