	Story Behind the Song Create a fun Sing-A-Long MOP LADY Theme Song that children want to sing along with. The lyrics were written to stimulate children to come have fun with the MOP LADY and her online Movie Books. Vicki Lei wrote, composed, and recorded the song in her studio in a few hours. THE MOP LADY Story: THE MOP LADY?? Whatever possessed you...? .....It s simple: I NEEDED A MOP. Doing the floors on your hands and knees can be tiring. That s exactly what I had been doing in the spring on 2000. And with several kids, two cats and a dog I simply needed a mop. It was a day like any other, only today I had to grocery shop. As fate would have it, I reached the mop aisle. They were beautiful! Or else I was really tired of doing those floors by hand. It wasn t until I reached for the “mop of my dreams” that my life changed. “DON T BUY A MOP.” What??? I reached again. “DON T BUY A MOP.” Nobody was in sight. It had to be divine. God definitely has a sense of humor! I left the store without a mop. Garbage day is on Wednesday in our neighborhood. Today was Monday so I was quite astonished to see our neighbor had put her garbage out already. And there it was: A MOP. A perfectly good mop, just my size (short). “God, what are you trying to say to me?” After I mopped my floors, I retreated to a quiet space and asked further. It became clear to me and the “creative juices” just kept flowing. Upon sharing this with a few neighbors, I was guided without effort to the people and places I needed. A neighbor two blocks over sketched the Mop Lady for trademark search. “God, if this is meant to be, it will pass the trademark search. If not, so be it.” The trademark cleared without problem. And so it goes. I now work with a team of wonderful people as we move forward with this company. God alone knows what he holds in store for us as we progress. It s better kept in His hands.
