	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in my home on several different days. I wanted to tell of how this world offers things that don't last, but the one thing that does is God and His love. Living for Him isn't easy, but has it's rewards. Lyrics Kings & queens have come & gone And in our minds there all the same. They ruled upon their stormy thrones To tell us of their earthly fame. On that day, His face I'll see! And on that day, I'll bend my knee! Yes, on that day, He'll hold my hand, And walk me through the Promised Land. We'll walk through hand in hand. To live for Him ain't no easy task, "Give Me your best", that's all He asks. There'll be hardships we must endure But on that day we'll be made pure.
