Are You Connected??? |

Story Behind the Song
The basic concept of this song came to me back around 1995 when I first got onto the Internet. With the Internet spanning the globe and information speeding here to there and everywhere, I drew parallels from the Internet to the synapse in the brain. This, plus the original “concept album” idea for the CD brought it more into a song about the world awakening. It also is saying that we need to understand and appreciate the world and not allow it to be destroyed by our own hands.
Lyrics
I swear that I can feel a heartbeat a half a world away
You can tell me what you’re thinking but I know what you’re thinking, just the same
You can pick up the telephone, or you can try to get me on-line
But, I’ll be in contact with you, I’m only waiting for your sign
There’s so much for you to learn
So many things that I’ve left unspoken
Your world awaits your interaction
We are Connected - We are One
We are Connected - One Vision under the Sun
As I lie here underneath, in an environmental trance
I see you could lose it all if you were only given half a chance
It’s still a bit early, can’t you see I’m barely awake
Still in my infancy, in a subterranean-unconscience state
There’s so much left for you to learn
So many things that I’ve left unspoken
Your world awaits your interaction
We are Connected - We are One
We are Connected - One Vision under the Sun
We are Connected - We are One
We are Connected - One Vision under the Sun
We are Connected - We are One
We are Connected - One Vision under the Sun
