	Story Behind the Song Vocals by Tim Goldman - the original Fork Handle and much missed! (Salade, Tim!) This was the historic first Fork Handles self-penned creation amongst those early covers, a collector's item amongst Fork Handle fans. Written rapidly while waiting for a file to download over a slow modem connection (as you do). Not their greatest hit ever, it has to be said, but a taste of what was to come, and full marks for enthusiasm! Listen out for the delicious diminished 7th chords on "rockin' beat", and for the screaming effect Ben gets with harmonics for "rockin' rhythm". We hadn't mastered syncing with the drum machine in those early days, but we kept the take because we wanted a rough-edged feel. (!)
