Song reviewers often stated Jan Davis was way ahead of his time. The word 'fusion' best explains how Jan wrote and arranged three of the guitar instrumental cuts found on this "Rock 'N' Flamenco" CD. He liked to experiment with a Flamenco guitar lead on all sorts of styles, even to extremes such as, Steel guitar backing a Flamenco guitar? Some would say, "It's just not done." (Or is it?)
