	Story Behind the Song This song is about the state of white, suburban America that I saw during my time working in Minneapolis elementary schools. It is about growing up too fast and what becomes of those that do when they actually do grow up. It also touches upon the ego-centrism of some parents and their lack of involvement in their child's life. Lyrics -don’t want to feel low and bored will not question reality that you sell and so I’ll wait to settle scores til my headtrips don’t bother me and I don’t hurt myself it’s all fun and games life can’t strike back at me cause I don’t care no more just how costly I was barely 18 when I saw I’d be waiting for these feelings to overtake me -(chorus)I’m in-side this ride but I don’t know where it takes me don’t ruin the end I don’t want everything alright this white suburban life has been lying lately it’s becoming clear these are the highest of our lowest times -my back is turned and my hands are tied broken lives left undone can’t fulfill the suburbanites when these 13 year old girls keep mating just so sick of the lives that their parents created –(chorus)- what built up the biggest of lies and destroyed the strongest of minds has taught us that it’s alright to take cover and settle down destroy the things that made us feel alive (chorus x2)
