A devilish and delicious classical romp, this prelude, the third of six that George wrote, is one of my favorites for its syncopation and dissonance. I've never heard it played with the right amount of "bite," so I thought I'd go ahead and do it myself :) |

Story Behind the Song
About six months ago I "returned" to the piano, meaning that I re-dedicated myself to learning and growing as a musician. I've always been a lover of Gershwin's music, and I thought I was musically ready to tackle something that wasn't ragtime. His preludes were a good place to start... I hope one day to know them all!
