Story Behind the Song
This is a song that Jamie and Kyle wrote together. They had different reasons for what they wrote, but it all came out meaningfull. Jamie handled the melody, acoustic guitar, and lead vocals. Kyle, although a drummer, plays the backing electric and he wrote most of the lyrics. Oh, and because kyles drums were lacking, skins, we used a drum machine. Enjoy! One more note, recording studios are hard to come by in south dakota, so this is a VERY outof tune, out of key, rough copy.
Lyrics
(Verse)
We left the seasons to play
We left ourselves for a day
We led the angels astray
And now it all comes down on it
(Chorus)
And now i struggle to breathe
I feel the tips of your teeth.....biting me
I tongue the hole inside my cheek
But your leaving, but your gone
I fall down on my knees
Never heard your selfish pleads
I never wanted you to leave
But your leaving, your leaving me
And now i struggle to breathe
I feel the tips of your teeth.....biting me
I tongue the hole inside my cheek
I tongue the hole inside of me
But your leaving, but your gone
(Bridge)
Gave you all of the best
Gave it till there was none left
Now im down here on my back
Im face down in broken glass
And now i struggle to breathe
I feel the tips of your teeth.....biting me
I tongue the hole inside my cheek
I tongue the hole inside of me
But your leaving, but your gone
