A song written about days passed, where one's direction was less than obvious, and how shared humanity always remains important.

    Story Behind the Song
The song was written in 2001. It aludes to a time when I was living in squats in London. It also refers to time spent behind locked doors, but enough about that. It was recorded in a pro-studio in Stockwell, London between Dec2001-Jan2002. The Performers were Myself, Jamie Wood, on Rhythm Guitar and Lead vocals, Raphael Aletti on Bass Guitar, some lead guitar, and some BV's, Jeremy Clancy, lead guitar and BV's, and Keith O'Neill, formely drummer with Liverpool band 'CAST' who stepped in to rescue us by playing the session after our previous drummer was poached. The Production/Engineering for the tracking was done care of Toby Robinson of Moat Studios, Stockwell, a fine establishment if ever there was one. Post Production/Mixing was done on Logic Audio by myself and Raphael Aletti. Enjoy.

    Lyrics
Invisible walls, and I'm filled with doubt,
I see a door, and think that I can break out,
But I am chained, chained to myself,
Only thing I can change is me, nothing else

But a road that leads to nowhere,
Is not the road to take,

Just gotta reach out and touch someone,
Touch them like they've never been touched before,
Just gotta reach out, and touch someone,
Touch them like they've never been touched before,

Dusty old floor, and a rattlin' window,
    My backpack's against the wall,
A sleeping bag tossed in a corner,
I remember those days, I recall...

...that a road that leads to nowhere,
Is not the road to take,

Just gotta reach out and touch someone,
Touch them like they've never been touched before,
Just gotta reach out, and touch someone,
Touch them like they've never been touched before,
