    Story Behind the Song
Jaclyn never talks about what her songs mean or who they're about. I don't even know what this song truly means to her. I know what it means to me, and I'm sure you'll find out what it means to you too.

This song is the first song I've recorded live orchestral instruments on. And I will never use a sythesizer again. Live strings recorded properly are simply majestic.

This song took a long time to record, there was just so much to it. We started with Jaclyn and her guitar live. Then I added guitar and bass. Then we recorded vocal harmonies. Next we brought in a drummer. Then I composed a string arrangement. Then I sent the composition to the arranger. He arranged the strings and then came into the studio to record 1st and 2nd violins plus viola. Then we brought in a cellest to come in and play cello. And last but not least we brought in our Bassist to Beef up the low-end. Finally, we were ready to mix!!! Ha! After all was said and done, this song took about 3 months to produce. (but technically no more than about 30 studio hours) And I am happy with the result. I think you're gunna enjoy this.

    Lyrics
    At a loss for words
you strike me to the core...
    of what I'm feeling
    Everything you do for me
    you don't even know
    But fate has intervened
and what is meant to be
    but don't you see?
    You inspire me.

    All the things you share
then I hold back when I'm scared...
    of what I'm feeling
    I said I don't care
    but I lied
And the hand that pulls you closer
is the one that sets you free
    but don't you see?
    You inspire me.

    And when I look inside
I know your standing on higher ground
    I search frantically but your
    nowhere to be found
    Though you were meant
    to pass along
    I still hold you close
    Your my Immortal Love Song

I hear your voice in my dreams
    then I wake suddenly...
    and you're not here
Out of sight but not out of mind
    Maybe I was blind
    but now I see
    You inspire me.

    And when I look inside
I know your standing on higher ground
    I search frantically but your
    nowhere to be found
    Though you were meant
    to pass along
    I still hold you close
    Your my Immortal Love Song
