It's a sort of pop thing, waiting for vocals to be dubbed on. Halfway through I let loose with all the crazy sounds and I complely blow out the bassline with a phaser. |

Story Behind the Song
The whole thing started when I was listening to this record by the Olivia Tremor Control. I paid close attention to the introduction to the song Marking Time. A couple days later I was messing around in the studio. Before long I had a drum track and an electric piano part closely resembling the piano in the Marking Time. In the end I subconsciously borrowed the structure for that song and crafted my own material into this one. So far this song is the closest to my vision of how I always wanted my recordings to sound.
