	Story Behind the Song I wanted to get a couple of track with just Trinity playing by himself. this is my favorite. It's about how Willie Brown sold his soul so he could get famous... well for those of you who don't know that story. I went down to the Crossroads to make me a pact with the devil so I set out to find my way and I found out where it was.. them there folks there new what I was lookin for they sid boy it's down the road that way you can't miss it .. coz it fords to the left and it forks to the right it don't matter which one you take ... when you stray off from the path you goin.. the next person you see might just well be your demon... but don't you worry , coz it'll be alright when I got there , he looked at me..say hey there boy.. whatcha doin over here? I done heard a tale bout Willie Brown.. I got your paper right here in my pocket... if you want to become famous you got to be what I tell you to be.. once you do that you will become famous all over this here world.. they will know your name.. on every corner and evry lake.. every mountain top every house when they hear you playin that thing... they gone know that it's Willie Brown now Willie Brown when he got older he did not want to go to the other side so he started lookin for him a guitar player so he could beat the devil out his cards he found him , was a young boy and Willie brought him down there to the devil's church.. he say 'devil' I got somebody gone beat you! The devil looked at him and laughed HA! boy you know how many people said that to me.. ain't nobody done it yet.. but you can have yo' chance.. you want it now or later? 'the boy ready now!' so they played a while and the devil's boy played a while.. and the devil's boy played while longer and he got them fingers and them strings fire red hot! good enough .. but that young boy had somethin' the devil didn't have! Willie got his cards back.. the devil tore up his paper, and he said 'Willie Brown, you still gone be famous, but I ain't got cha no mo...
