TV and War go together like breakfast and orange juice. This is a punk rock tribute to tragedy, television and war in the middle east.
    CD: Burning Man   Label: J-Birdrecords
Credits: Lyrics and Music by Eric Brian Mayron

    Story Behind the Song
A friend of brutal DLX who works in television production coined the phrase "Teddy Vicious" to refer to a business with long hours, tight deadlines, and little pay. Nonetheless, with an everpresent need for news updates from the middle east, business is GOOD!

    Lyrics
Ain't my life a cheese, Ain't my existence still

I got a beat up body and a broken down will...
Ain't my shoulders small, Ain't my belly round
And the couch is always comin' 'tween me and the ground...

You better not cry and you better not pout
Teddy Vicious' gonna' getcha' if ya' don't watch out

Ain't the movies grand, Ain't the TV real
I got a message from God, with a look and a feel...
Ain't the president rich, Ain't the people poor
Teddy says I'm going to the third world war...

Do you stare into the screen, Do you keep what you find?
Do you think you can escape what Teddy's put into your mind
Do you tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
Do you hang your head in shame cause you forgot to ask for peace

Everybody stayed home and watched the war on TV
Mr. Vicious decided what the public should see
Mr. Nielsen declared that the war was a hit
Mr. President said, "Well, that wasn't so bad now, was it?!"
