	Story Behind the Song synapse was the track that nearly finished us off. it was without doubt the hardest track to get right of the sessions. we did version after version, and it didn't click. i think we were really trying to impose the wrong kind of sound on it, rather than let it develop naturally. after we left it for a while it all came together. the lyrics are really about standing up to people or situations you hate, and kind of saying that they can try all they can, but they really won't hurt you, but that's it really.
