	Story Behind the Song Debbie's fiance Alan initially seemed a good sort. He knows how to wax his Ford Mondeo properly, and never eats with his mouth open. However, blind ruthless career ambition can often leave a man with an emotional void, and when Alan secured a new job as Divisional Sales and Marketing (East Anglia: North) Assistant Co-ordinator for a biscuit firm in Norwich, he was prepared to leave Debbie behind in search of salary, share options and a better brand of compact car vacuum cleaner. Debbie now lives with her friends Cathy and Barry in their comfortable suburban home. Her heated foot spa has proved a great success!
