	Story Behind the Song The song was written by Art and Patty Brannan over 14 years ago. Then about 3 years ago, Patty introduced it to the "Katz". The Meerkatz immediately put a 'regge' style slant to the chorus, then it actually took on a life of its own..The Katz pumped up the beginning--much improved over the original version, Patty had no choice but to get excited about re-doing "Summertime Blues" w/ the Katz new version. It was actually written about partying with a good, close, friend, -- maybe a little too much partying, and getting maybe just a little too close for ones own good.... and developing feellings for "THE ONE YOUR WITH"....most won't admit it,....but 'CaN rElAtE'!
