	Story Behind the Song A Mother's greatest fear after losing a child is that others will forget them. This song was written as a memorial to Keith Jones. On March 19, 1999, my son Keith was killed instantly in a vehicle accident in ...Woodward, Oklahoma. This was the beginning of the worst days I've ever known. Keith was only 24 years old...I never got to tell my son how much I love him or even good-bye...I think of him and miss him every second of everyday... his memory will live forever in my heart. He was so full of life and lived each day as if it were his last. He taught so many of us the importance of each day we live and why we should treasure it so much. Sometimes when it is very quiet I can still hear the sound of your voice as clear as if you were standing right beside me. I turn around to look, and at that moment I once again realize that you are not there. The thought of never seeing you again or talking to you again is unbearable. I never got to say good-bye or to tell you how very much I love you, and how proud I was of you When you died , Part of me died with you that day, I not only lost a son but I also lost my best friend.
