Upbeat, and very catchy, this song is usually one of the first three tracks I put on my unsolicited demo material. | MP3.com CD: Ghost Town - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Written when I was moving out of Nashville, this song is about leaving new friends behind, and the prospect of seeing them someday soon. Sometimes we've just got to leave places behind to start new chapters.
Lyrics
My mind is hard to ease
That's ok
Cause I'm easy to please
Since I found you
These days are numbered now
That I'm here
And I just cant find
And I just cant choose
These days are numbered now
That I'm gone
And I just cant help
And I just don't care
My mind is stuck among the ways
Of a Nashville girl
And her Nashville ways
I know in an August moon,
Now, here's a ticket
Come see me real soon
I need things hard to find
Like a little more money
And a little more time
I heard the talk among the dead
In my ears, running through my head
They said to follow dreams,
When it seems that it's what you want
Hey, it's what they said.
I need things hard to find
Like a little more money
And,
A little more time
Will be found when the rooster crows
And the wind blows me to the next town
My life, I'll figure out sooner than
You can say it's alright, your heart's ok
I know in an August moon
I'll say, Here's a ticket, come see me real soon.
And you and I've got lots of time
So here's to you in that airport line.
