	Story Behind the Song This song was written for a friend of mine who was going through some tough times and doubts. I wrote it and recorded it in one day entirely without the use of a four-track. I used some wierd tricks with the built in recorder on my computer. Lyrics just be another tear falls on the floor in this room and i'm pretty sure this one’s not mine and the sound that it makes as it graces the ground sends a tingling chill down my spine i have witnessed the glimmering shards of her hope that have shattered beneath all this dark and i've watched her rebuild every piece of that hope just to watch it again fall apart ::be her holy breath of life, be her candle burning bright be her peaceful hope of dawn in the middle of the night be her shelter from the rain, be her love that will remain through the wind and through the fear be her strength and draw her near just be:: Lord Jesus, i humbly beseech you to look kindly upon my poor soul i am feeling the weight of the burden you've sent and i'm grieved by the fortune it holds you have melted my heart by the sorrow she's spent and you've shown me what she needs to see but my words come up short and a moment too late in the moment she needs you to be ::[chorus]:: i know how she's longing to touch you but her trembling fist holds her back she perceives you as frail like a porcelain doll and if punctured you'll shatter like glass but what she's failed to see through her soft, teary eyes is the strength that has helped her to stand so the next time she falls on the floor, on her face, simply show her the scars in your hands ::[chorus]:: aaron 10/10
