	Story Behind the Song I took alot of influence from REM's "Nightswimming" for some of the structure, namely the lack of real chorus or verse differentiation. It uses the relationship of a actor and his director as a metaphor for someones relationship with god or fate or what you will. The song was recorded at UMASS/Lowell's 24-Track Studio over the course of one day in November 2001. It was originally supposed to be only an accoustic guitar demo with some drums maybe, but quickly became a very well built song. All instruments were played by Joshua Smith.
