	Story Behind the Song This was a song that I recorded at Jeff Johnson's Studio. It was the first attempt being a drummer, to write my own song lyrics, melody and all. It was a great experience for me and it had been something that I had always wanted to do. I have a few more tunes in the head and it's a matter of when I get around to record them. Hope ya dig. ps. I had to have a few jack & cokes to get behind the vocal mic for the first time. Yikes! Lyrics Sometimes I wish I had a million dollars... to make my problems go away. Sometimes I wish I had a girlfriend... where my money might make her stay. Sometimes I wish I had a better car... my windows down so I can show my face... Yeah but that's not the case..... ohh yeah I call myself ohh Mr. Envious. Sometimes I wish I had a better life... no 9 to 5 and everyday's a saturday. Fill me up I'll think I'll have another... swipe of the plastic, I'll think I'll pay it later. Sometimes I get to really thinkin... maybe so u-huh it might happen. Yeah...but thats not the case..... ohh yeah I call myself ohh Mr. Envious (Mr. Envious) Sometimes, I look at myself I want to much of what I haven't had... For the one's! who get what they wished for, So I'm frustrated, feelin' alienated,just want some attention like I had before. Like I had before.......... Now I'm older and it gets harder... short hair and just gettin fatter. I realize who I am and where I'm at... looked hard,not found my aladdin's lamp. Short cut and it aint likely... it's me, I gotta make it happen.
