A friend of mine came up with the ultimate way to piss of a yankees fan, and if, like me, you're a red sox fan, you can keep from hearing "1918" thrown back at you: imply that derek jeter is gay. Well, what you need to do is to make sure that you don't come right out, as we do in the song, and say that he's gay, but start having a conversation about how you heard from a friend that he was and say you don't believe it, but this friend is normally reliable... watch the steam come out of their ears.
