	Story Behind the Song This song deals with letting go of past and present anger, "to learn to let them out of your soul. Always to strive to be better then you are today. Sins are not negative, but instead they are stepping stones, and learning tools for getting closer to God. This song was a turning point for my relationship to the divine and to faith. I realized that everything in life happens for a reason and we have to let go and let God. This song was written in my home and took a few months to compose. Lyrics Verse 1: It was a warm summer night on a gas lit street. I sat down at her table, please help me to sleep. I felt her dark eyes looking through my troubled soul. From her mouth these words of wisdom You must let it go Chorus: A white carpet displays. The pink angel waits above. A white carpet with blue stars. Soft like the wings of a dove. Verse 2: It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to breath. Since I have taken, my life with ease. I laugh and I smile but I cry inside I can feel some answers when I look up to the sky. Chorus: Everyday I look in the mirror. My true colors are reflected at me. So I say, I will not live this way. Bring on the life that’s supposed to be. Chorus
