Story Behind the Song
Early Nineties. It was a steaming hot summer. Rick Payne, from Bristol, England, found himself in Northern California recording a roots blues album at Bennett House Records. Paul Emery captured and
produced the sound immaculately, while John Girton provided some truly outstanding guitar magic in his capacity as guest acoustic guitarist.
This track is one of 8 new tracks recently unearthed by the Acoustic Guitar Workshop. Other tracks include outstanding versions of "Little Red Rooster", "Smack Dab" and "Ditty Wa Ditty". The CD is called "Lost Tracks" and it is only available from acousticguitarworkshop.com
