	Story Behind the Song Artistic inspiration can be hard to come by when you're a 20-something Vermonter still living with your parents. For this one, the Hix turned to the thing they knew best: dead animals. Banged out in a couple of takes with Ben on the guitar and Craig reluctantly behind the mic (the Hix mantra dictates "If you write 'em, you gotta sing 'em"), "Groundhog" has gone on on receive airplay in two time zones and to inspire a network television miniseries, oddly enough, about the Asian silk garment industry.
