This is the story of a young man named Stevus Parkus. He takes a journey with his fustian blanket, and along the way encounters many difficulties, which he must conquer with the help of his friends and guides, one of which is none other than Jesus himself. Story Behind the Song
This song has been in the making for 3 years now. We've been trying to come up with an idea that was meaningful and thought-provoking, and after nearly seventeen incarnations of the song, we feel that it is perfect. Stevus Parkus can be interpretted however each person wants. Some may see themselves in Stevus as he first steps out into the cold night, just as they first step out into the world. Others may see humanity in Stevus as he tries to get through all of the hardships of life and all of the joys. Whatever you see, let Stevus show you how to be whatever your heart desires. And remember to never forget the matutinal sun.
Lyrics
Stevus Parkus grasped his fustian blanket as he creeped off into the night.
The cold chilled his spine ominously with fright.
Desolate was his mind, heart, thoughts and cries.
He went to Dairy Queen to get french fries.
A medal he was awarded for keeping up his pants.
And after 7.370 minutes, he ascertained a new dance.
He creates a vista over his four-legged, one-winged bird with his blanket.
And he then hears a sing-song coming from a creature called a franket.
Suddenly an earthquake created a clatter.
And all he could see was Jesus getting fatter.
The matutinal sun stang his eyes.
With diffulty Jesus began to rise.
He checked his schedule, bingo he had missed
The birds in the aviary were very pissed.
Back to Stevus who was beginning to pant
Met a wetback, but cry he shan't
He held a zymotic grape in his hand
In the other, an abacus not from this land
Follow the magic octagon he said
And Jesus and Stevus squealed with dread
