    Story Behind the Song
If you have ever been stalked or harassed or even just had the pleasure of meeting one of these drama-queen type personalities, you will relate to this song. The inspiration was one particular unstable woman that was constantly creating ridiculous stories regarding some of the band members and leaving harassing messages on voice mail as well as with relatives and friends. The original acoustic guitar and lyrics were created as an answering machine greeting aimed at this particular Soap Opera Queen. It was only on the machine for 2 hours before that particular psychopath was able to enjoy it. It has since become one of the most requested and enjoyed songs the Beryl Grady band performs.

    Lyrics
    She's not looking
    For good company
    Cause she's still empty
    Either way
    She's a compulsive liar
    She just doesn't know
Any other games to play but -

I can't see her too clearly - thank god
No, I can't see her at all, I can't see her No No

    We all know that
    Misery loves company
    She want to trap you
    In her pain
She's a real live soap opera but,
She just doesn't know any other way to play

I can't see her to clearly - no no
I can't see her at all - thank god
    I can't see her

    If you haven't met one . . .
    Just give it time
    They're on every corner
    10 for a dime
    She doesn't realize
    She just doesn't realize
    No, she can't have mine
