	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song after the ending of a serious relationship. It occured to me how frequently, and sometimes inappropriately, people say " I Love You. " This spawned the idea of creating a song that reflected my feelings on using these words and their effects on us, both positive and negative. Lyrics 3 words nothing turned out the way I thought it would be as I lost myself in you you ran away from me once upon a time there was 5 now there's only 3 sometimes I wish I were someone else sometimes I can't be just me three words that bond the 2 as 1 three words that mean so much but what remains when love comes undone these words you can't hold, these words you can't touch the faces in my dreams they haunt me every night I could make the right choices but who decides what is right once upon a time I could survive you know you eased my pain sometimes I don't feel quite alive yes I know it takes time but things will change I must have walked this floor one hundred thousand times to find some consolation to why I'm left behind once upon a time I could believe in you now who believes in me forever is not as long as I thought but forever it seems...
