	Story Behind the Song This song was written in a short afternoon in front of a keyboard. I was doing some vocal warm up's and just started singing the melody "i've been working late" . The funny thing is i had a different melody for the chorus ... I left the song for a hour to get some fresh air and came back totally forgeting what i written for the meldoy... so... i had to make a new one up. This song got it's inspiration from my teen years. John (in the second verse) has been ,and still is a very good friend of mine who has stuck with me through a lot. This one is dedicated to him .He still to this day brings a case of beer to whatever we are doing. He's the best! The first line was inspired from me watching a bus boy clean up empties at a local Bar i was playing at. He looked quite tired/unhappy doing it but when it came time to close up and every one was kicked out... now that's a different story .Man,Those guys know how to party after work... Well ,hope you like the song. Enjoy.
