	Story Behind the Song You got it: All I had of this girl I was nuts about was this Polaroid (for all of the 10 hours or so before I saw her again), and though there had been some 38,000 songs already written about this very situation, there had been none by ME! I couldn't get a rhythm guitar or keyboard sound I liked, so I did harmony backing vox instead, which were pretty simple but I like how they turned out. It's from way back in 1996, and I wouldn't be foisting it on you if I didn't think it was pretty cool. This girl "liked" my music, but only wanted me to write songs about HER, which is a difficult situation because one must only write happy songs about current relationships if one wishes to continue in that relationship. The lyrics thus are a tad on the trite side, but occasionally that doesn't seem to be a handicap.
