Real nice drum beat with a catchy guitar loop in the distance and lyrics that I'm really happy with. |

Story Behind the Song
Boredom builds; the lyrics contain pretty much everything I wanted to say in anysong, kinda depressing, a few lines about love, some about fear and hope, pretty balanced throughout. The song was written half during calculus, a bit during economics, and the rest typed on my computer. It took two weeks to completely finish the song while the drums took the absolute longest. All the guitar tracks were recorded within three tracks in a day, same with the vocals.
Lyrics
I spent a day once
Refusing to say a single word
Hoping that I'd slowly disappear
Now my single biggest fear
Is to wake up from a year or ten
Just to fade away again
Falling through
I'm falling still
Wondering why
I'm standing still
I met a girl made of rust
And the first thing that I heard
Was a single shining fragile tear
Making pure and turning clear
My life and how it would have been
Just to fade away again
Falling through
Sweet sugar pill
Swallowed
But I'm breathing still
Waking slowly, vision blurred
Seductive light drawing near
Unwillingly it drew me here
Basking in the numbing sin
Just to fade away again
Falling still
My sugar pill
It makes me feel
Complete and warm
Lying here
I hit the wall
Vision clear
I see them all
Their minds are dead
Empty smile
Empty head
