	Story Behind the Song Many people, after hearing Brad's remake of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" say that they didn't understand the song until his version came along. For Brad, however, the original song had been one of his favorites for years. "Lots of people remake songs and just throw a new sound or rhythm behind them, with no respect to the song itself. I can't stand that. I wanted to try and capture the heart and feel behind the song.
