	Story Behind the Song I wrote this one night when I was feeling a little "strange". I went over to my friends house and he did the vocals while he was intoxicated. Lyrics And he was wearing a red jacket as I walked toward him with a knife in my hand. There's nothing you can do he said as I looked up and screamed with pain. why does this shit always happen like this? it's unnatural and yet no one really cares. So I took a step back and put the knife into my left hand. So much blood, so much blood. everywhere it went and yet still it dripped down my arm onto the nice white carpet in his house. Why are you doing this? he asked. to delay the inevitable, to delay the inevitable I could feel my own heart beat or was that just the wind. nothing's right now and yet nothing's wrong. No one should have to put up with such ignorance, I thought as I pulled the knife back out of my hand. It was covered in red just like the carpet. my heart had slowed to a nice hard thud and I could feel a breeze rushing through me. He tried to take the knife away from me at that point but then there was more blood. had it really come from my hand I wondered. and now he was lying on the floor in an attempt to hide all the blood, but all for nothing because now he was covered in it and spreading it all over his nice red carpet.
