Story Behind the Song
This song was originally written in 1998 As a kind of complimentary tip of the hat to a female drummer with a loose conglomeration of Yarmouth Nova Scotia Canada musicians Called The Chunk Of Funk led By Guitarist,Vocalist Songwriter Dan MacIsaac. The tune had undergone a variety of metamorphisis with various performers.It was never recorded until 2000 ata community college media arts progrm as part of a class compilation CD project.The recording project started with the rythm section, Bass and Rythm Guitars by Dan MacIsaac. Drums By Harold Grandy.this session took three hours. Lead Guitar, Horns and vocal over dubs were completed in another four hour session a week laterwith a minimal amount of takes (five) to be exact. Engineered, Produced By Rick O'Leary, Co Production, Harold Grandy. Both students enrolled in the media arts programme.
