	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song after a frustrating week of trying to make a call to Poland (circa 1987). In those days, during communism, the phone system was quite unpredictable and you could easily spend days and days trying to make the connection. I often envisioned this small hardworking satellite drifting in outer space, unable to connect thousands of people to one another around the world.
