This was our traditional opening jam for our shows, and this is from our last show in May '93. Jim didn't perform video that night but we had two dj's with turntables on the risers. It was great fun, but this is a BOOTLEG QUALITY RECORDING! See story for more of the story! |

Story Behind the Song
Way back when Tim was studying artificial intelligence at Beaver College and playing with Pat the two wrote a lengthy piece in their best Yes/Rush personas entitled "The Silly Robot Moved the Red Pyramid to the Big Table." Which, of course has only one meaning as opposed to "The Silly Robot Saw the Pyramid on the Hill with the Telescope" which has atleast four distinct meanings (for example, the telescope and the pyramid are both on the hill and the silly robot saw them there; or: the robot was on the hill hanging out with the telescope when he saw the red pyramid which itself was not necesarilly on the hill, etc.) That's what happens when you write songs surrounded by college texts, strange inspirations indeed. The intro to the piece weaves in and out of various themes of the song itself and that intro was adopted into this live jam. This was recorded on a budget cassette deck with a cheap microphone and has been dubbed a few times before it was eventually encoded. This song is mostly placed here for our old fans and friends who had the chance to see us live.
