Story Behind the Song
What does a Mexican biker call his Japanese girlfriend? Japonessa (Hop on, Esa)! International programming based cable television broadcasts a Korean variety show in which the production numbers are made up of songs with easy to understand (i.e. "Oh, baby," or "I love you") bits of a variety of languages (Asian, Euro, Middle-Eastern) with subtitle languages and character sets changing at the bottom of the screen. Brutal DLX stole this technique to bring to life the story of a futuristic romance that could only happen in modern-day Los Angeles.
Lyrics
Boku ni wa kimino ai ga hitsuyo da
Just one ride I know you'll see the world from a new point of view
Tengo hambre por su corazon!!
Japonessa, Japonessa wrap your legs around me
Japonessa take a rocket ride into your future
Kimi wa saiko, mi geisha pleatheretta
Soy un Mexicano, not just some Los Angeleno gaijin
Kimi wa ai ga hoshii!
Domo arigato
Muchas graçias, señiorita
Soy un Mexicano
And you will be my Japonessa
