A punk rocky ride from Union Station to North Hollywood, one way, real fast. And our driver: Casey Jones...
    CD: All Around You (Forthcoming)
    Credits: by Eric Brian Mayron

    Story Behind the Song
A fed up, jacked up, wacked out, disenfranchised ex-member of American society steals a Los Angeles Metro subway car and heads for the end of the line: at blinding speed.

    Lyrics
Into Union Station out of my brain
saved the best ride for last
and I'll be drivin' that train
nobody knows what I came here for
    step into the driver's seat
and lock the cabin door behind me

    (stepped into the twilight zone)
a man comes and goes but always leaves alone
(I feel the rails a clickety-clackin' deep inside my bones)
do you copy me, Houston, this is Casey Jones.

    I'm on the Redline

    I've got a lifetime prescription (Watson 349)
and a one-way ticket to the end of the line
'cause workin' on the railroad ain't never done me no good
I'm on a suicide mission, bound for North Hollywood

(left my soul at the Lost and Found)ain't no metro pig gonna push me 'round
(tearin' up the rails at the speed of sound)
this is Casey Jones calling and I'm underground.

    I'm on the Redline

the end of the line it is a mighty good goal
I'm tearing up the canyon burning out of control
(I feel the rails a clickety-clackin' deep in side my bones)
can you hear me, ma, it's Casey and I'm coming home

    I'm just a runaway train
    in a world I can't compete
where a conductor's just a pin that makes the circuit complete
I'll leave a lasting impression in a wall of concrete
nevermore to feel the rails a clickety-clackin' 'neath my feet

    I'm on the Redline...
