    Story Behind the Song
Personal suffering motivated the writing of this song. Perhaps the lyrics will evoke a different meaning for you. For me, it's all about the idea of suffering, and the thought that as individuals we often suffer by ourselves in silence--even if we're surrounded by many loved ones. Life is indeed a lonely road. It demands courage, which we may not always have the energy to summon. -- Nooz

    Lyrics
How many times I've called on the father
Rescue me from the wind and the storm
Me in-ah the jungle 'pon me own
How do I find the way back home
    Wild vegetation interlock
Me and me blade we ah-go rock

Cho: Chop Chop Chop 'til we drop
    Chop Chop Chop don't stop
Chop Chop Chop 'til we drop
Me and me blade we ah-go rock

How many times you've answered my prayer
Helped me up when I've fallen down
Oh yes, I've jumped into the waters
And sunk to the deep of despair
And yes, I've run through burning fire
    Misery's everywhere

Cho: Chop Chop Chop 'til we drop...

How many times I've read from the proverbs
    and meditated on your words
How many times I've received your blessings
You give me strength against the world
Oh yeah, I've jumped into the waters
And sunk to the deep of despair
And yes, I've run through burning fires
    Misery's everywhere

No father, no mother, no sister, no brother
    Can ever feel your pain
    Despite they love you now
No father, no mother, no sister, no brother
Can ever hurt, the way that you do

Me in-ah the jungle 'pon me own
Never mind if people all around
For when me get cut is me who hurt
Fall to the ground is me in the dirt
In the jungle life is trouble
We a struggle in this jungle
In the jungle life is trouble
We a struggle in this jungle

Cho: Chop Chop Chop 'til we drop...

    You're on your own
    He's on his own
    She's on her own
We're on our own in the jungle

Cho: Chop Chop Chop 'til we drop...

In the jungle life is trouble we a struggle
In the jungle life is trouble we a struggle
In the jungle it's like life
In the jungle you need a knife
    Whatever that is

Chop Chop Chop 'til you drop
    Chop Chop Chop don't stop
Chop Chop Chop 'til you drop
Me and me blade we ah-go rock...
