A folky, 60's influenced rock number about Radha. She is a milkmaid, who lives in a little village in India, she is also, in Indian mythology, Krsna's ever loving consort.
It is said that the only way to get to Krsna's heart is through pleasing her. |

Story Behind the Song
I got the inspiraton for this song from the Indian poem "Gita-Govinda", it tells the story of the love between Radha and Krsna, and the Paddhati, another Indian text, which describes all the Attributes of Radha.
I recorded this track with my Rickenbacker bass, and my Stratocaster. It's the first track I've recorded since installing my Fender-Lace sensors on it.
Lyrics
I saw a flower fall from Heaven
Came from a world that's fond of truth
A lotus in her hair
And in her eyes shines what's pure
In her eyes shines what's pure
I saw a flower fall from Heaven
Her lips are red as Bimba fruits
And pearls rest on her breasts
As she slowly twirls for Krsna's flute
Yeah she twirls for Krsna's flute
I saw a flower fall from heaven
Her locks of hair curl beautifully
Kajalla 'round her eyes
But her sweetness crushes vanity
Yeah she crushed all vanity
I saw a flower fall from heaven
Her lotus feet are painted red
Her limbs are smeared with Camphor
As shines the diamond on her head
As it shines upon her head
